Century Fire Protection LLC is looking for a dedicated fire alarm installer to join our team on commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The role involves installing devices, panels, wiring, and conduit, followed by testing and documentation to ensure compliance with NFPA 72 and local codes.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, 1–3 years of fire alarm or low voltage experience, and a willingness to pursue licensure or certification as required by state or local regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NICET or other fire alarm certifications preferred but not required.
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills are expected for reporting and documentation.
• Willingness to pursue licensure or certification as required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm devices, control panels, wiring and conduit per drawings.
• Perform testing and inspections on newly installed systems for function and compliance.
• Troubleshoot installation issues under supervision and resolve promptly.
• Document installations, changes and testing results accurately.
• Coordinate with other trades and project personnel on site.
• Support service or retrofit projects as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow OSHA standards.

Div. 167 - Houston, TXSummaryResponsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm and life safety systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. This role ensures systems are installed safely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
