Job summary

Telgian is seeking a Signaling Systems Designer in Delaware to design fire alarm systems using AutoCAD, review documents, and prepare submittals for AHJs. You’ll coordinate with QA/clients and inform Senior Designers of scheduling concerns.

The role offers growth within Telgian Engineering & Consulting, with travel possible. Requirements include CAD design experience, REVIT familiarity, and preferred NICET certification or related education.

Qualifications

• 3 years CAD design experience in Architecture, Construction or MEP required.
• Prior experience in REVIT preferred.
• NICET Level I or II certification preferred.
• 2 years college or CAD training; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design fire alarm systems using AutoCAD within required timeframes.
• Review consulting documents and drawings to apply to fire alarm design.
• Assemble drawing submittal packages for AHJ submittal.
• Make changes to drawings from QC/peer reviews.
• Collaborate with Senior Designers on complex projects.
