Job summary

Telgian Engineering & Consulting in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Signaling Systems Designer to review and design fire alarm systems using AutoCAD, coordinating with AHJ and clients. You will produce submittal packages, update drawings from QC/peer reviews, and collaborate with Senior Designers on complex projects, with opportunities for travel and professional development.

Requires 3 years CAD design experience; REVIT preferred; NICET certification preferred; High School or GED required; 2 years

Qualifications

• 3 years CAD design experience in the Architectural, Construction or MEP trades.
• REVIT experience preferred.
• NICET certification preferred.
• High School or GED required.
• 2 years college or CAD/Fire Protection training; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design fire alarm systems using AutoCAD within task time constraints.
• Review consulting documents, fire sprinkler drawings and survey docs and apply to fire alarm design.
• Assemble drawing submittal packages for AHJ submittal.
• Make changes to drawings from QC/peer reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
