Chesapeake Fire Protection, part of Century Fire Protection, is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician in Odenton, MD. You will inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems, delivering hands‑on service and clear communication with customers.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of related experience, NICET certification when required, and strong knowledge of NFPA 72/NEC. On‑site field work and on‑call rotation are required as part of this role.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of fire alarm or life safety service experience preferred.
• Technical training or certifications preferred.
• NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification preferred or required based on state.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and local fire codes.
• Experience with fire alarm panels, devices, and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with Notifier or equivalent systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems. This is a hands‑on field role for someone who takes pride in quality work, solving problems, and building strong customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Ability to work at heights and in occupied buildings.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• On‑call rotation and occasional overtime required.
