Fortis Fire & Safety is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician in Knightdale, NC. The role targets candidates with hands-on experience in fire alarm systems who want to advance their careers in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, knowledge of NFPA standards, and the ability to read blueprints. You will service and inspect systems, document work, and communicate clearly with customers in a busy nationwide company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in installation, service, testing, and/or troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Proficient with computers and smartphones (Windows, iOS, Android).
• Working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and current industry standards.
• Willingness to adjust hours for operational needs.
• Must meet driving eligibility with a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect fire alarm systems.
• Complete all paperwork for service and inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and company vehicle.
• Work independently while upholding high workmanship standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers and deliver excellent service.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and document work performed.
