Qualifications

  • Experience inspecting, testing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm components to verify operation.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and test results.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs on wiring, devices and software.
  • Respond to service calls and emergencies to restore system functionality.
  • Perform preventive maintenance like cleaning, calibration and battery replacements.
  • Document all service activities using the ServiceTrade platform.
  • Provide clear inspection findings and repair estimates to customers.
  • Coordinate with clients to schedule work and discuss upgrades or improvements.
  • Work with service coordinators to optimize work orders and scheduling.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
