The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards. The role includes NFPA-compliant reporting and proactive customer communication.

A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered, paid in two installments after 30 and 90 days, respectively, with opportunities to grow within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and testing fire alarm systems per NFPA standards.
• Ability to prepare detailed inspection and maintenance reports.
• Proactive in identifying deficiencies and recommending repairs.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and test fire alarm components to verify proper operation.
• Prepare detailed inspection and test reports noting deficiencies per NFPA standards.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs on wiring, devices and software.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies, diagnose and restore system functionality.
• Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning, calibration and battery replacement.
• Document service activities and parts usage using ServiceTrade.
• Collaborate with Deficiency Sellers to prepare repair estimates and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule work and discuss findings.
• Coordinate with service coordinators to optimize orders and scheduling.
• Maintain safe, organized work environment per safety guidelines.
