Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Service Technician to service and program fire alarm systems. You will join a team focused on growth, safety, and customer satisfaction while upholding Convergint’s values.

The role requires hands-on experience with fire alarm systems, strong technical and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints. A valid driver’s license and local travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as a fire alarm service technician, with programming experience.
• Experience with Edwards EST 3 or EST 4 fire alarm systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally to sites; valid driver’s license.
• NICET II Certification in Fire Alarm when available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, programming, and commissioning fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and manuals.
• Ensure work complies with local and national codes and safety policies.
• Coordinate with team to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
