JOB SUMMARY :

Oversee service and repair existing fire alarm systems. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design / installation methods, calculations & material lists for fire alarm systems. Has the ability to program common fire alarm panels and has experience with EST / Kidde panel programming.

Up to a $3,000 Sign-On-Bonus based on experience!!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Generally responsible for troubleshooting and repairs of existing fire alarm systems.
  • Understand design & Layout of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Field Surveying
  • Communication with the customer.
  • Proper reporting to the local AHJ.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • NICET certification preferred but not required
  • EST, Kidde and over the counter panel programming knowledge and experience required
  • General mechanical knowledge
  • Experience in Fire Alarm service or Design
  • Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Able to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary; proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office
  • Detailed oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy when performing job duties

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
