Job summary

TEKsystems in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a skilled electrical/low-voltage technician for a contract-to-hire, full-time onsite role. You’ll install, service and upgrade fire alarm and low-voltage systems, read blueprints, pull cables, and support renovations with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have field experience in electrical or telecom, strong troubleshooting, a valid driver's license, and a professional work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, telecom, low voltage, maintenance, or construction.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive.
• Valid driver's license.
• Professional attitude and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Install and service fire alarm and low-voltage systems
• Pull, terminate, and test cabling
• Replace devices and assist with system upgrades
• Troubleshoot equipment and identify solutions in the field
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project drawings
• Support commercial and school renovation projects
• Maintain quality workmanship and safety standards
