Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Manager to oversee the operations, profitability, and growth of the assigned area in Louisiana. The role requires expert knowledge of fire alarm systems, strong leadership, and proven financial management capabilities.

You will supervise inspections, services, and installations, manage P&L performance, and coordinate with Sales and Operations on scheduling and resource planning.

Qualifications

• 7 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm.
• NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire alarm and security department including inspections, services, and installations.
• Manage financial performance per P&L statements and departmental revenue and overhead.
• Coordinate with management on financial progress, growth strategies, and human resources needs.
• Ensure safe, compliant job execution per local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Lead staff staffing, training, and performance reviews, including field supervision and ride-alongs.
• Oversee asset maintenance, material orders, scheduling, and invoicing practices.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations to plan and schedule work.
• Promote continued education and certification for employees.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
