A Plus Electrical Service LLC is a leading provider of electrical and low voltage solutions in the Virginia area. We are hiring an Electrical Low Voltage Installation and Service Technician to install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems for diverse clients.

The candidate will handle installation of Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optics, security cameras, access control, and fire alarm systems, while working with project managers to ensure timely completion. On‑call availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience as a low voltage technician or in a related field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Familiarity with hand tools and specialized equipment used in installations
• Strong knowledge standards and practices.
• Familiarity with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Do routine service calls, including inspections
• Install, terminate, and test various low voltage cabling, including but not limited to Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics.
• Set up and configure security cameras, access control systems, fire alarm and audio‑visual equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Provide training and support to end‑users on the proper use of installed systems.

Position Overview:

As an Electrical Low Voltage Installation and service technician, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of electrical and low voltage systems for our clients. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a passion for delivering high‑quality solutions to our customers.
