Job summary

Cosco Fire Protection in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm and Detection Sales Representative & Project Manager to grow our local market.

You will leverage your relationships in the construction community, a solid fire alarm background, and proven sales and project management skills to develop, quote, and close turnkey solutions while coordinating with operations to ensure profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of fire alarm sales experience.
• Experience selling turnkey solutions.
• Ability to read construction drawings and NFPA codes and standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills and sales achievements.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to recruit/attract other key staff to the team.
• Completion of college degree in business, marketing, construction management, or engineering (or equivalent).
• Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Previous fire alarm design or electrical/low voltage field experience preferred.
• Fire alarm project management skills/experience preferred.
• Must be able to close sales.
• Proficient with PCs including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop sales goals and plans for the fire alarm market in the territory; work with Branch Management to execute strategies.
• Locate & qualify projects; foster local customer relationships for sales.
• Engage with industry associations to grow the Cosco brand in Las Vegas.
• Contact prospects, qualify buyers of new construction and service contracts; schedule calls and follow-up.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships through quotations and technical support.
• Ensure profit objectives are met throughout sales and execution.
• Develop layouts, estimates, quotations, and proposals.
• Ensure timely turnover/billing information to operations staff.
• Seek out new customers to expand Cosco's base; some cold calling required.
• Project management of sold projects may be required.
• Estimate related service work and small projects as needed.
