Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of fire alarm sales experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and NFPA codes.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and sales achievement.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor-level education or equivalent work experience; NICET is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop sales goals and plans for the fire alarm market in the territory.
• Locate and qualify projects; build local customer relationships to generate sales.
• Develop relationships with industry associations to grow Cosco's brand.
• Contact prospects and qualify buyers for new construction and service contracts.
• Prepare layouts, estimates, quotations, and proposals for customers.
• Ensure turnover/billing information is provided to operations promptly.
• Seek new customers and be willing to do some cold calling.
• Possibly manage projects sold and oversee day-to-day project tasks.
• Estimate related service work and small projects as needed.
