Job summary

Total Fire Protection in Woodbury, NY seeks a proactive Project Operations Manager to lead fire alarm installation projects from planning to closeout on-site. You will coach project managers, coordinate design and installation, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget targets are met.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in fire protection or construction operations, strong leadership, and expertise in NFPA 72, with a Bachelor’s degree and PMP/APM preferred. On-site role with travel.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive experience in fire alarm installation, fire protection, construction operations, or related field.
Experience managing project managers, field teams, or cross-functional project teams.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, installation practices, and NFPA 72, OSHA and local codes.

Responsibilities

Oversee fire alarm installation projects from planning through closeout.
Coach and support project managers and field operations teams.
Ensure project delivery on time, within scope and budget, with safety and quality standards.
