Job summary

CSI is seeking skilled Fire Alarm Technicians to install and commission low voltage systems in medium and large commercial buildings. You will work under a foreman, layout tasks, and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

Experience with fire alarm, nurse call, access control, or CCTV is valued. Candidates should hold a valid driver's license, be reliable, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills with customers.
• Proficiency with industry equipment including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install fire life safety and other low voltage systems in commercial buildings.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and foreman to complete projects on time and on budget.
• Program or operate low voltage systems including fire alarm, nurse call, access control, security, or CCTV.
• Prepare equipment deliveries, perform troubleshooting, and commission systems.
• Interface with codes officials for permits and discuss wiring methods with stakeholders.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and product manuals.
• Identify out-of-scope requests and report to management.
