Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions in Pleasanton, CA, seeks an experienced Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Installer to join a growing team. You will perform routine installation and checkout on fire alarm, voice/data, and security systems, using drawings, procedures, and company standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of LV installer experience, strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, and the ability to read blueprints. Physical effort is needed and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm/LV Installer.
• Solid working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications.
• State and locally required minimum certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm, voice/data, and security systems.
• Install commercial & industrial 3-phase electrical power systems.
• Install all types of electrical conduit.
• Troubleshoot circuit opens, shorts, or ground conditions.
• Run wires, wire devices, fish walls, and install doors.
• Complete paperwork and keep as-built drawings current.
• Comply with industry standards and Sciens safety policies.
