Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Systems Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain a broad range of systems on construction, engineering, manufacturing and renewable energy projects.

The role requires completing the EST Apprenticeship and may involve substantial travel (60–75%), with work hours largely 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Friday and potential night/weekend shifts to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

  • Provides installation and troubleshooting for voice/data, fiber optics, fire alarm, security, access control, CCTV, nurse call, etc.
  • Analyzes blueprints for job-site knowledge.
  • Evaluates upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures and training needs.
  • Leads small crews (2–5 electricians).
  • Enforces safe job site and maintains compliance with safety standards.
  • Demonstrates strong customer relations and problem-solving.

Specialty Systems Technicians are responsible for a wide range of systems installations, troubleshooting and maintenance through well‑versed knowledge of applicable codes and standards. Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Completion of Electronic Systems Technician (EST) Apprenticeship Program (if applicable)
  • Travel: 60‑75%
  • Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provides installation and troubleshooting for a wide range of systems including voice and data, fiber optics, fire alarm, security, access control, closed‑circuit television, nurse call, etc.
  • Analyzes blueprints effectively for job‑site knowledge.
  • Evaluates upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures and training needs.
  • Demonstrates the ability to complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size.
  • Leads small crews (2–5 electricians).
  • Enforces a safe job site and maintains compliance with company safety, OSHA and customer‑specific safety standards.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem‑solving techniques.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
