Wachter, Inc. is seeking experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion Install Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial locations nationwide. Travel is extensive, with a focus on safety and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven field installation experience in fire alarm and/or intrusion systems.
• Current Life Safety license or state-required credentials.
• NFPA 70/72 knowledge and experience reading blueprints.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet on lifts and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to travel extensively (2–6 weeks) and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial sites.
• Run low-voltage cabling and install support structures in buildings.
• Test newly installed systems and diagnose network/panel issues.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and safety requirements.
• Record detailed work logs and collaborate on pre-installation planning.
