RapidFire Safety & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Technician for our Austin branch. You will install, program, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems on-site, ensuring NFPA 72 compliance, and perform preventive maintenance as needed.

The role requires strong low voltage wiring skills, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and the capability to work with construction teams to integrate systems into new designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and fire alarm systems.
• Proficiency in low voltage wiring and system testing.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems per NFPA 72.
• Test and inspect systems for safety and compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on alarm components.
• Coordinate with construction teams to integrate alarms into designs.
• Provide training and support to teammates on alarm systems.
