Koorsen Fire & Security Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Fire Alarm Installation Technician to install fire alarm systems and related devices, interpret drawings, and ensure functionality for customers.

The role requires 1-3 years of installation or service experience, valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet licensing or certification requirements. The schedule runs 6:00 am to 4:45 pm Tuesday through Friday; pay ranges from $19 to $35 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of fire alarm installation or service experience.
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with electronic testing devices and programming.
• Pass drug and background screenings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• The installation of Fire Alarm systems and their components to ensure proper functionality.
• Install Fire Alarm systems and associated devices per drawings.
• Ensure customers understand the functionality of their system.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
• Open-minded willingness to continue learning.
• Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
• Any other duties deemed appropriate by management.
