Job summary

Koorsen Fire & Security Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to service and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial sites. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, strong customer communication, and commitment to safety.

Salary ranges $19 to $35 per hour and includes health benefits, 401k, paid holidays, and opportunities for career growth. Must have Ohio fire alarm license, valid driver’s license, and ability to meet certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial fire alarm systems experience.
• Ohio state fire alarm license.
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with electronic testing devices.
• Pass drug and background screenings.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• The service and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems and their components to ensure proper functionality.
• Service and troubleshoot systems to diagnose problems and identify solutions.
• Ensure customers understand the functionality of their system.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
• Open-minded willingness to continue learning.
• Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
• Any other duties deemed appropriate by management.
