Job summary

Cosco Fire Protection in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Inspector/Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and document commercial fire alarm and life safety systems. You will perform inspections, identify deficiencies, and complete reports while working with customers professionally.

Requirements include knowledge of NFPA 72, experience with fire alarm systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Experience with commercial fire alarm systems.
Knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable fire/life safety codes.
NICET certification is a plus.
Manufacturer certifications (Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight) are a plus.
Local to the Greater Savannah Area and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform fire alarm inspections and testing per NFPA 72 and code requirements.
Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems and life safety equipment.
Document deficiencies, findings, and recommendations clearly.
Complete inspection and service reports accurately and on time.
Interact professionally with customers and property representatives.
Test initiating devices, notification appliances, panels, power supplies, batteries, and related equipment.
Respond to service calls and diagnose system issues.
Maintain records and ensure documentation is complete.
Follow safety procedures and present a professional appearance.
Communicate system conditions and needed repairs to office and customers.
