Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wisconsin is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide on-site maintenance, inspections and preventive services on client fire and security systems.

You will perform inspections, test devices, complete paperwork daily, and communicate with clients and our Central Monitoring Station. Must travel as needed and maintain knowledge of fire and electrical codes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must be able to obtain licenses/certifications to perform work in security per state rules.
• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Strong math skills including area, volume and percentages.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installation of alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify systems and devices (panels, sirens, horns, strobes) per manufacturer specs.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and Central Monitoring Station.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
