Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wisconsin seeks a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide reliable on-site maintenance, inspections and preventative services for fire and security systems. Starting pay is based on experience.

You will perform inspections, test panels and devices, complete paperwork daily, and communicate with clients and our Central Monitoring Station. Travel may be required, and training is provided to support your goals. The role offers vehicle and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain required licenses/certifications to work in security per state rules.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong math skills for calculations.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client alarm systems.
• Test devices (panels, sirens, horns, strobes) to verify proper operation per specs.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers, and Central Monitoring Station.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
