Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wisconsin is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to deliver reliable on-site inspections and preventive maintenance for fire alarm systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory code compliance across client sites.

You will test panels, sirens, strobes, and related devices to manufacturer specifications, complete daily paperwork, and communicate with clients, coworkers, and the Central Monitoring Station to maintain prompt issue resolution and service quality.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry as per state regulations.
• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong math skills including algebra and geometry.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installation of alarms.
• Values: integrity, communication, excellent service, accountability.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices function properly per manufacturer specifications.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
