Job summary

Per Mar Security Services seeks a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide on-site maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems. Starting pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, testing devices, completing documentation, and coordinating with clients and central monitoring. Travel and licensing requirements apply; benefits and opportunities to earn more based on performance are noted.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must be able to obtain required licenses/certifications for the security industry.
• High School Diploma or GED is required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Mathematical skills including calculations of figures and amounts.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe and proper alarm system installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that systems and devices function per manufacturer specs.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to support daily operations.
