Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Fire Alarm servicing/inspections required.
• Active licensing and NFPA/Tx/local code certification required.
• Experience with low voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with Fire/Life Safety systems.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and specs.
• Proficient with PCs; MS Excel/Word; tablet apps.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and maintenance on fire systems.
• Work with low voltage wiring for equipment operation.
• Complete service acknowledgements with proper coding on a tablet.
• Follow a structured inspection schedule.
• Input, retrieve, and archive documents via tablet.
• Make minor repairs and programming changes with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical training to less senior inspectors.
• Complete inspections on time.
