Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical, sprinkler, or suppression life safety systems, including similar products from competitors.

Key Tasks

• Work with low-voltage wiring and devices.
• Complete service acknowledgements accurately via communication devices.
• Follow structured inspection schedules.
• Input and archive inspection data electronically.
• Perform minor repairs and system programming.
• Provide technical training to less experienced inspectors.
• Ensure timely completion of inspections.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• 1-2 years of documented experience in fire alarm or sprinkler systems.
• Fire alarm license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience with hand tools and multimeters.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Physical ability to carry tools and work in challenging positions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and possible out-of-town work.
• Adherence to safety protocols and licensing requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug tests.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
