Job Description

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector responsible for routine inspections, testing, service, and preventive maintenance on fire alarm, sprinkler, or fire suppression systems, including products from similar manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain electrical, sprinkler, and fire suppression systems
• Work with low voltage wiring and devices
• Complete service acknowledgements and input data via laptop or paper
• Follow inspection schedules and perform minor repairs and programming
• Provide training to less experienced inspectors
• Complete inspections on time and perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Fire alarm license and ability to obtain necessary licenses per codes
• At least 3 years of documented experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler services
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Experience with hand tools and multimeters
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Physical ability to carry equipment up to 70 lbs and work in challenging positions
• Flexible working hours, including weekends
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass background and drug tests
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET certification
