Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire protection systems with minimal supervision.
• Conduct regular face-to-face interactions with customers in various facility types (hospitals, nursing homes, schools, colleges, restaurants, military installations, government buildings, commercial buildings, multi-family residential properties). Public contact may vary depending on the type of facility.
• Use excellent verbal communication skills to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members.
• Diagnose and evaluate systems requiring service, and troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections.
• Properly document all inspections and other necessary information.
• Provide detailed reports and recommended corrective actions to customers.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain any applicable state licenses.
• Tasks include climbing ladders and stairs, lifting at least 50 lbs, and walking long distances to reach all areas of buildings for inspections.
