The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards. This role safeguards lives and property through thorough inspections and dependable service.

Key duties include routine inspections and testing of fire alarm components, documenting findings, troubleshooting malfunctions, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with clients and the service team to schedule work and prepare clear repair

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and test fire alarm components (control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, annunciators) to verify proper operation.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings, test results and deficiencies per NFPA codes.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs on wiring, devices and software.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies, diagnose issues and restore system functionality.
• Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, calibration, battery replacement) to extend system lifespan.
• Document all service activities in service records and customer notes, including parts usage.
• Provide inspection reports and repair estimates in collaboration with Deficiency Sellers and Service Coordinators.
• Schedule work with clients, discuss findings and propose system upgrades as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment adhering to safety protocols.
