We are seeking a talented Fire Alarm Field Supervisor to work in our Service group from our headquarters in Arlington, Massachusetts.
Summary of duties and responsibilities
The Fire Alarm Field Supervisor will oversee fire service/inspection staff, provide technical support, and ensure high-quality inspections in accordance with American Alarm standards. Responsibilities include supervising the fire team, supporting technicians, managing daily operations, training staff, reviewing work quality, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. The role requires effective communication with staff and customers, and the ability to handle administrative tasks such as performance reviews, scheduling, and report management.
Additional duties include supporting policy development, updating manuals and safety practices, maintaining customer relations, and handling on-call duties. The candidate must be able to operate equipment such as ladders, company vehicles, hand tools, and technology devices, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications include an Electronics degree or equivalent experience, relevant licenses (Massachusetts Electrician Journeyman “B” or System Technician “D”), and the ability to obtain security clearances. Some travel is required.
