Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in London is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to service, maintain and install fire alarm and life-safety systems across commercial and residential sites.

You will ensure BS 5839 compliance, carry out fault finding and commissioning, and contribute to on-call rotas where required. A proven background in addressable and conventional systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of addressable and conventional fire systems (Advanced, Morley, Kentec, Gent).
• FIA units or relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3).
• Valid CSCS/ECS card.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing, fault finding, and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Carrying out small works, installations, and commissioning of new systems.
• Ensuring all work complies with BS 5839 standards.
• Completing digital service sheets, certificates, and job reports accurately.

About the Role
