You’ll perform site surveys, draft plans in AutoCAD, and coordinate with engineers, architects, and authorities to ensure compliant installations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in fire alarm design, NICET Level II, and experience with Notifier/Siemens systems. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with fire alarm/fire suppression system design.
• NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (Level II minimum preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to assess fire risks and building layouts.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes.
• Prepare shop drawings/plans using AutoCAD to meet codes and manufacturer requirements.
• Develop detailed CAD schematics and submittals for fire alarm installations.
• Communicate with local officials, engineers, architects, and customers.
• Stay updated on fire alarm technology and regulations to ensure compliance.
