Actalent is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer with 2–5 years of experience to design and develop fire alarm systems for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects. You will ensure compliance with NFPA, IBC, IFC, AHJ requirements and project specs, while coordinating with PMs, estimators and field personnel.

Formación

• Degree in engineering, drafting or related field.
• 2–5 years of fire alarm design experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire alarm requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or HydroCAD and fire protection design software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsabilidades

• Create detailed fire alarm layouts, risers, device placements, and submittal packages.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, engineers and field staff.
• Review drawings for project integration and design compliance.
• Select equipment and support AHJ approval processes.
• Maintain organized docs and timely, code-compliant designs.
