Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a Fire Alarm Designer / CAD Drafter to design fire alarm and access control layouts in AutoCAD, per code, and to prepare equipment submittals.

You will communicate with sales, operations and customers, maintain accuracy under deadlines, and apply NFPA 72/101 standards. We offer competitive wages, health/dental/vision coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Growth opportunities and training are available.

Competenze

• 2–5 years’ experience with Fire Alarm systems layout per NFPA 72 & 101.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2019 or newer.
• 2–5 years’ experience, Fire Alarm systems.
• Notifier alarm system experience preferred but not required.
• Licensed Texas APS preferred but not required.
• 2–5 years’ experience, Fire Suppression systems a plus.
• Fire suppression (Clean Agent, CO2) design experience a plus.
• Licensed Texas EPL a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Mansioni

• Communicate technical concepts to sales reps, operations team, and customers.
• Design and layout of Fire Alarm systems in AutoCAD per code requirements.
• Layout of Access Control systems in AutoCAD per code requirements.
• Build equipment submittals.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
