Fircosoft Application Developer - Charlotte, NC

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is looking for a talented and motivated Fircosoft Application Developer to join their dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations through cutting‑edge sanctions screening systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement code/configurations for Firco Continuity and Firco Trust applications.
• Analyse and verify business requirements, flows, and deliverables for essential projects.
• Troubleshoot issues across environments and perform root cause analyses efficiently.
• Update sanctions lists and deliver timely system upgrades.
• Monitor and provide application support for Dow Jones Factiva lists.
• Ensure the reliability and robustness of mission‑critical payment systems, maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills

• Proven expertise with Fircosoft Sanction Screening applications, including Firco Continuity and Firco Trust.
• Experience with Firco Utilities such as FMM, FML, FUM, and FFF Classic.
• Hands‑on experience with sanctions screening and Firco Continuity V6 upgrades.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Windows shell scripting for process automation and SQL scripting (Oracle, MS SQL).
• Experience with scheduling software tools (e.g., TWS), file transfer processes (e.g., MQFTE), and CICD tools.
• Background in financial services with an understanding of the critical nature of production payment environments.
