What You Will Get To Do

• Work on varied FIPS 140 validation projects.
• Perform security analysis, design work (product architecture), vulnerability testing, physical security testing, system-level logical analysis, product evaluations against Technology Type standards (Protection Profiles), cryptographic and PKI testing, cryptographic algorithm testing, source code review, technical report writing and review, testing automation through scripting, and develop applications to support test cases.

You Will Bring These Qualifications

• Cryptographic Validation Program (CVP) Certification
• Knowledge of cryptographic encryption algorithms, key exchange algorithms, hashing/message authentication algorithms, PKI, random number generators, etc.
• Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java) and development environments.
• Ability to understand security standards and apply them to products.
• Experience with networks, subnetting, routing concepts, and security protocols like SSH, IPsec, TLS.
• Experience building testing environments, performing tests, and reporting results.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, debugging tools, entropy sources analysis, OpenSSL/OpenPGP, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, security principles, certifications like CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE, Active Directory, Linux, and hardware tools.

Education & Experience

• Typically a BS degree with 2-4 years relevant experience.

Position Details

• Pay Range: $57.99 - $62.99

Salary depends on responsibilities, experience, education, skills, location, travel, and market conditions.
