Job summary

The Bancorp Bank, N.A. is seeking an Underwriting and Portfolio Analyst I to evaluate financial, control, and operational risk for merchant acquiring, ACH, and card issuing relationships.

You will support third parties in meeting oversight requirements and contribute to a safe credit framework within the Fintech Solutions Division. Responsibilities include reviewing third-party applications, performing financial analysis, due diligence, and keeping thorough narratives and records up to date.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 2 years of financial statement analysis, underwriting, and portfolio review experience.
• Strong understanding of Know Your Customer requirements and BSA due diligence standards.
• Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, NACHA rules; AML/BSA regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to read, understand, and review corporate financial statements and tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Review third-party merchant applications for completeness and guidelines.
• Request documentation and track responses to ensure prompt replies.
• Perform financial analysis and underwriting for various client relationships.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence and assess risk exposures.
• Prepare written narratives and support approval decisions.
