Biz2Credit Inc. is seeking an experienced Underwriter for our NY Office. You will evaluate loan applications, perform financial analysis, and support underwriting decisions to assess credit quality and cash flow. This role requires thorough due diligence and effective collaboration with Relationship Managers across the underwriting team.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and supporting documentation to determine eligibility and creditworthiness.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess risk and inform lending decisions.
• Conduct due diligence and verify accuracy of information provided by applicants.
• Own full cycle underwriting for assigned small business financing.
• Collaborate with Underwriting team to identify red flags and mitigate risk.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and underwriting guidelines.
