Job summary

Kunai is seeking a client-facing Software Development Engineer in Test to join our professional services team. In this full-time role, you will define, build, test, and launch scalable server-side capabilities for banking and fintech clients, working closely with client stakeholders and internal engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java and Spring, Cucumber and Playwright, and familiarity with Angular; scripting in Python/Scala/JavaScript or Shell is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; substitutions may include three years of specialized tech training per missing college year.
• Experience testing backend systems with Java and Spring.
• Hands-on testing with Cucumber and Playwright.
• Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
