Job summary

TabaPay is seeking a software QA engineer to help ensure reliable deployments and system integrity across our fintech platforms in the US. You will verify REST API and front-end quality, write and run test cases, and collaborate with Operations, QA, and Engineering in a hybrid Palo Alto setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of software QA in fintech or operations-heavy environments.
• Experience testing Web/UI and REST APIs; SQL for backend checks.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and change-control checklists.
• Excellent communication to bridge Operations, QA and Engineering.
• High attention to UI consistency and edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Verify operations change controls and approve safe deployments.
• Support continuous operations with critical QA during peak periods.
• Govern the SDLC process with standardized release checklists.
• Validate build health and regressions; ensure security hygiene.
• Enhance the Operations Portal with regression testing.
• Assist with REST API testing for Client Portal and cross-portals.
• Leverage AI tools to design tests and automate execution.
