FIS invites a 2027 University Summer Internship participant to join a collaborative project management team in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time 40-hour-per-week internship runs from May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, offering mentorship, social events, and professional development seminars.

You will contribute to team projects, stakeholder communications, and operational excellence while building foundational project management skills and gaining exposure to business and technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and rising senior (graduating Dec 2027–May 2028).
• Basic proficiency with AI-enabled tools and applying them to boost productivity.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Adaptable with a drive to learn and strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning by maintaining schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings, status updates, and communications among stakeholders.
• Monitor risks, issues, and action items; escalate when needed.
• Assist with project reporting, data analysis, and leadership presentations.
• Maintain project documentation and governance artifacts for compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable successful delivery of objectives.
• Track budgets, resources, and timelines to identify variances.
• Participate in process improvement to enhance execution and efficiency.
• Support change management and adoption of new processes or solutions.
• Build knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
