Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a product manager to build an intelligent financial co-pilot for American users. You will own onboarding, activation, and guide early feature engagement while shaping the product roadmap and collaborating with analysts, engineers, design, legal and risk.

You will break down epics into features, write acceptance criteria, run MVP tests, and use data to validate needs while aligning with risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 1 year of product management or related experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
• Capital One will not sponsor employment authorization at this time.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
• Preferred: 1+ years translating business strategy into consumer facing digital products.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience on core product platforms powering digital experiences.
• Preferred: 1+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and activation, guiding users through enrollment and early feature engagement.
• Develop intent and build and deliver the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, Design, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and partners.
• Build acceptance criteria and identify needs for additional research.
• Break down epics into features and user stories for MVP feature tests.
• Use data-driven assessment to validate business needs.
• Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps while following risk-management processes.
• Conduct research and develop features using new and evolving technology in an agile environment.
• Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and subject-matter experts.
• Deliver product platforms by understanding technology trends and architecture strategy.
• Participate in horizontal forums and build relationships across teams.
