Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Product Intern to join the Payments & Fees team. You will support the product manager, organize tickets, gather stakeholder input, and learn SQL to analyze payment data.

You will collaborate with a fast-paced engineering, design, and data environment and contribute to dashboards tracking payment performance and health. This role involves agile participation, clear documentation, and bridging tech with business needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Interest in payments, fintech, and how complex financial systems work under the hood.
• Natural curiosity and a logical mindset; enjoy solving problems and asking questions.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort with data and willingness to learn SQL; prior experience is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication; summarize complex topics clearly.
• Experience in product, fintech, data analysis, or startups is a plus, but potential matters.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude or similar AI tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the product manager in drafting, organizing, and tracking tickets for payments service changes.
• Gather background context from stakeholders and prepare materials for provider meetings.
• Learn and apply SQL to query payment data and support dashboards for payment performance and health.
• Maintain clear internal documentation for payment flows and fee structures.
• Participate in agile meetings and collaborate with engineering, operations, compliance, and support teams.
