Squarespace is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Payments team in New York. You will lead engineers, drive delivery of payments infrastructure, and partner across Product, Design, and Operations to align on strategy and compliance.

You will report to the Engineering Director for the Financial Solutions Group and help scale the organization while delivering high-impact initiatives that affect thousands of merchants worldwide.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the software industry.
• 3+ years of experience launching payments products.
• Experience coaching engineers with diverse specialties.
• Experience developing and launching FinTech products and infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team that builds payments products.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Operations to set product strategy.
• Shape organization, processes and culture of the commerce platform.
• Mentor engineers to grow their technical and payments skills.
