Job summary

Almond FinTech seeks a senior, hands-on Head of Legal Operations to scale its legal function across regulatory, commercial, product, governance and corporate matters. The role is fully remote in the United States and requires a JD, bar eligibility, and 8+ years in fintech or regulated financial services.

You will partner with executives, manage contracts, compliance programs, cross-border arrangements, and partner relationships while building scalable processes and leading a small legal team.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed/eligible to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience (preferably in-house at a fintech, payments, or regulated financial services company)

Responsibilities

• Own and scale Almond FinTech's legal function across regulatory, commercial, product, governance and corporate matters
• Serve as the primary internal legal advisor and Partner with executives to manage contracts, compliance programs, and risk management
