Job summary

Tereina, SF-based fintech startup, seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to join the DevOps team and help build our cloud environments. You will start by maintaining build, development, and production environments, then expand them as Tereina grows.

You will collaborate with development teams to implement infrastructure changes, refine Terraform, and expand self-service provisioning so engineers move faster while staying safe.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or site reliability engineering.
• Terraform: hands-on automating GCP, AWS, or Azure environments.
• CI/CD automation: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GCP Cloud Build, or similar.
• Systems/Networking: Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and cloud/data center networking.
• AI tooling proficiency: use of AI assistants to diagnose build/runtime issues.
• Collaborating with development teams to turn needs into reliable infrastructure.
• Curiosity and drive to own fintech infrastructure and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support development teams to implement infrastructure changes for new services and code changes—from repo to load balancer.
• Develop and evolve Terraform modules and patterns across environments.
• Expand self-service provisioning so engineers can move quickly and safely.
• Maintain and automate CI/CD pipelines for faster, secure builds and deployments.
• Maintain health of build, dev, staging, and production environments; diagnose issues.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and harden infrastructure and document what you build.
