Job summary

Optasia in the United States seeks an Information Security Analyst to join the Security Team and enforce controls protecting data from threats.

You will audit systems, analyze alerts, support vulnerability management, and participate in customer audits while building awareness training and monitoring deployed security platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on tooling experience and strong communication skills across Windows and Linux in a fintech setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of information security experience.
• Understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 requirements and practical implementation.
• Knowledge of information security tools and methods (port scanners, VA scanners, SIEM tools, PAM, DLP).
• Experience with MS security platforms (Defender, Intune).
• Knowledge of network security concepts (DMZ, private VLANs, IPSec).
• Knowledge of the Internet threat landscape (phishing, ransomware, APT).
• Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).

Responsibilities

• Assist in security projects by deploying appropriate controls.
• Audit systems and infrastructures to ensure security controls are correctly applied.
• Analyze security alerts and respond to security incidents.
• Support the vulnerability management program by analyzing VA and PenTest results and defining mitigations.
• Participate in customer audits.
• Build and monitor awareness training campaigns.
• Manage the deployed security platforms.
